In coaching, there are various frameworks and structures used to guide the process. One common framework involves asking four major questions, often referred to as the GROW model.

- Goal – What do you want to achieve? This question helps define the specific objective or outcome the coachee desires.
- Reality – What is the current situation? This question encourages the coachee to assess their current reality, including strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.
- Options (or Obstacles) – What are the possible actions or solutions? This question prompts exploration of potential strategies or approaches to reach the desired goal, as well as identifying any obstacles that may need to be addressed.
- Way Forward (or Will) – What will you do? This question focuses on commitment and action planning, determining the specific steps the coachee will take to progress towards their goal.
These four questions provide a structured framework for coaching conversations, guiding both the coach and the coachee through a process of reflection, exploration, and action planning.
